Hi! Was out bloghopping. Nice journal!!

"Perfect Day" by Marija
I was listening to the radio this morning and the weather announcer said it was going to be “...a perfect day.” He was referring to a low of 70, a high of 82 and low humidity. While weather is important, I need a little more than a sunny sky for my day to be perfect. But do I really know what my perfect day would be like?
I remember reading one of those Woman vs. Man things wherein each described their perfect days. The male version involved a lot of oral sex performed by attractive celebrities. I don’t remember all of the details of the female version, but I do recall the opening entry:

Actually, that’s a good start. This morning I got up and pulled on a pair of jeans that I bought when I weighed about fifteen more pounds than I do today and, although there are quite a few pounds between me and the word “thin,” it was enough for me to appreciate that as a first step.
But a PERFECT day?

Well, I’d need some really good food. I’d need to spend time with people I care about. There would have to be some music, preferably with me getting to sing at least some of it. And maybe dance to it a little, too. Sailing would be good. And making love, of course.
Okay, I’ve just described a pretty full day, but I just realized there is nothing on the list that is unattainable. I could, with some effort, put that day together. With my single status, making love is probably the trickiest part. But I am not without prospects, even on that front
. And even if I only pulled off two or three of the elements, it would still be a pretty darned good day!
I guess I needed a reminder to work a little harder and having as many of those good days as I can, no matter what the weather report says. I see that on my list, only one item is affected by the weather, anyway.
What elements would your perfect day need?
